Glasgow Short Film Festival is based at Glasgow Film Theatre and Centre for Contemporary Arts, three minutes walk apart, and at Civic House, five minutes walk from GFT.

By Bike

Google Maps has introduced a new cycle planner. Click ‘get directions’ and select the bike to plan your cycling route to our venues. Bike racks are located near all our venues.

Car Parking

Closest public parking is the supervised 24 hour multi-storey car park in Cambridge Street. There is currently no metered parking or disabled parking outside GFT.

Tickets

Tickets can be purchased online at any time before the screening.

We operate a paperless ticketing system. When booking online, you will receive a QR code for your screening via email. Please show this QR code at the venue, either on your device or by printing at home.

If you prefer to buy tickets in person with cash, CCA will operate a cash box office for all screenings and events between Wednesday 20 and Saturday 23 March. Please note that CCA is 5 mins walk from GFT and 10-15 mins walk from Civic House, so allow time to reach your screening. CCA is not open on Sunday 24 March, but cash purchases can be made in advance.

Ticket prices at GSFF24 are set according to a Pay What You Can sliding scale, in order to make our events more accessible. Sliding scale tiers for most events are £3 – £5 – £7 – £10. Note that the Opening Screening is priced £6 – £8 – £10 – £12.

Certification

The films screened at GSFF are not formally certified by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC). We have given them an age recommendation e.g. 15+ (suitable for ages 15 and older; no one under 15 will be admitted).
