Carina Haouchine

Carina is a documentary filmmaker, writer and all-round film freelancer based in a fishing village on the East Coast of Scotland. Her film festival work has ranged from three years as Festival Coordinator at FANS Youth Film Festival to an emerging programmer with Dardishi Film Festival. Her first short doc, Ululation, was made through the SDI’s Bridging the Gap scheme and has screened internationally. Through social documentary training with OTOXO Productions in Barcelona, she mainly self-shoots and edits and has made films in collaboration with arts projects and charities from around the U.K. She is currently in post-production for her first feature film Session Zero, a coming-of-age documentary (with dragons!).
