Heather is a film curator and freelance writer based in Glasgow with special interests in animation, women’s cinema and folklore. She has worked for many film festivals, including the Edinburgh International Film Festival, Manchester Animation Festival, Indie Cork and Copenhagen Short Film Festival, as well as participating in the GoCritic! 2024 writing workshop at AniFilm in Liberec. Heather has also curated numerous programmes and competitions for Glasgow Film Festival and Glasgow Short Film Festival and is currently working for Leeds International Film Festival programming the World Animation Competition.
