Little Pictures Showcase

Two industry showcase screenings of the latest works from Little Pictures, a micro-budget commissioning scheme that nurtures new talent to make their first funded short film.

NFTS Presents: Sean Connery Talent Lab

Participants of the Sean Connery Talent Lab will present their projects and talk about the year-long experience. You will have the opportunity to put your questions to them and to the programme’s Head, producer Chris Young.

Artist Workshop: Cross Border Pirate Television in Ireland

Frank Sweeney (Few Can See) presents a workshop on the history of analogue television signals spilling across the borders of Ireland and Britain, reflecting on the community pirate television networks which emerged in response.


Roundtable: Palestine on Film
11:45-13:15, Saturday 22 March, Civic House
A conversation in two parts, first introducing the work of the Gaza Film Unit, then looking at the creative practices of contemporary Palestinian filmmakers, reclaiming the Palestinian narrative as an act of resistance against colonial erasure.
