Content Notes
On our ticket shop, you will find a list of any collected content notes relevant to the programme which you are viewing. If you wish to view a complete list of content notes at the film level, we have provided a table listing here. While the programme and film content notes may occasionally contain more detailed description, the core topics we have screened the programme for are:
> Ableism
> Abortion and pregnancy loss
> Animal slaughter, abuse or death
> Alcohol and drug addiction/abuse
> Classism & poverty
> Death or bereavement
> Eating disorder or vomiting
> Blood and gore
> Flashing or flickering lights
> Mental illness
> Misogyny and sexism
> Oppression
> Physical illness, injury and medical scenes
> Physical or Psychological abuse
> PTSD or trauma
> Queerphobia
> Racism
> Religious discrimination
> Sex and nudity
> Sexual assault
> Strong language> Suicide and Self Harm
> Transphobia
> War, Displacement or Genocide
We will revise and/or update our list after each edition of the festival. We understand what may be considered upsetting, triggering or otherwise is highly personal to the viewer, and that no list can ever be fully comprehensive. As such, if there are any topics which are important for you to know about that you do not see listed here – or if you would like to request a more detailed or nuanced description of any notes provided in the table – please email access@glasgowshort.org and we will be happy to assist you.
