Blazing Griffin is an independent company with offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow, working across film production, game development, and post-production, and with a focus on working with upcoming Scottish talent. Before GSFF17 kicks off, we’re taking the opportunity to put them in the spotlight and express our gratitude for their vote of confidence. Thanks to their generous support, the winner of the Award will receive a cash prize of £1,500.

Their post-production wing offers offline edit suites, online suites, grading suites, workflow design & management, dailies processing, and archiving. Blazing Griffin also work with specialist industry partners to offer sound post-production, VFX and remote grading, and have a team of experienced in-house post-prod Supervisors and Coordinators. In addition to their presence as our Award sponsor, Blazing Griffin will contribute to our GSFF Production Attic Short Film Pitch on Friday 17 March (12.45) in CCA Theatre. Alongside other panel members, BG producer Nicolas Crum will offer feedback on pitches for short film projects which were selected in advance from applications sent in to GSFF.
