The Scottish competition at GSFF honours inspiration and innovation in new Scottish cinema, and is judged by an international jury of filmmakers and curators. Viewers have the opportunity to choose their favourite to win the Audience Award. We are delighted that this year’s Scottish Audience Award is sponsored by Film City. 

In this second Scottish Competition programme we consider who we look up to, how we care for each other, and the many different ways those dynamics can shape us. 

The programme will be followed by a Q&A with some of the directors.
